I have two yearling common snappers. One is normal (really dark) the other is very much lighter. I would love to know if its a lighter morph. I've not seen any, but have read that albinos hypos and cinnamon morphs are available. I don't think its anything special but I can't tell other than its a lot lighter and the first fat turtle I've ever seen. I'll. Post pics ASAP. Thanks for any help you can give. No I don't plan on breeding its just for my own peace of mind.

How pretty, this is my favorite turtle. They are illegal here in AZ, very invasive to our waters. We have some at the Sanctuary though.

I have really enjoyed them. I got my first just to prove people here wrong. Most swear we have alligator snapping turtles here when we have common. I will be getting. A true alligator snapper as soon as I can find one without its tail kinked up. Everyone I've. Found has a badly kinked tail. Any idea if its a color morphs or just a really light colored turtle?
Sorry not a clue on the snapper morphes. I would think they would have alligator snappers there though, we have them here as well, very invasive too.
